Ambassador Spotlight: Tiki Barber

Former New York Giants All-Pro Running Back, Tiki Barber has led a successful career and has looked good doing it. Barber must stay sharp as he appears in the public eye. This means he can’t sacrifice his time stressing over an outfit. Tiki Barber enjoys the reliability and versatility of Collar’s & Co. clothing that helps him stay on his A-game. We have partnered with Barber as he represents our progressive brand mission that compliments comfort with style.

Pro Career Highlights

Barber, once considered only to be a "change of pace" running back, went on to become the all-time leader in rushing yards for the New York Giants. He was also a 3-time Pro Bowler and the NFL's top gainer in yards from scrimmage during his career. He spent the entirety of his career playing for the Giants and has held at least 22 franchise records for the team. October 2006 marked the end of Tiki’s illustrious tenure and marked the beginning of his broadcasting future.

Project Runway Appearance

The NFL legend appeared in the fashion industry during the early 2000s. He was a featured guest on the infamous Project Runway. Aspiring designers were challenged to create an elevated menswear look for Barber to wear to the Today Show that complimented his athletic build. When it comes to his fashion sense, he’s not afraid of color, remains open to stylings outside of a classic suit, and prioritizes comfort in his everyday wardrobe.

In addition to his Project Runway appearance, Tiki can be seen making frequent appearances as a guest judge on popular television shows like Chopped and Iron Chef America as well as appearing on an episode of Celebrity Family Feud. Barber also made his Broadway debut in 2019 playing Don in a limited run of Kinky Boots. He has co-founded and invested in multiple companies including an investment firm, a beverage company, and an online marketplace for athletes to book speaking engagements called Thuzio.

Broadcasting Debut

Barber has held multiple jobs in the media since retiring as a Giants running back. After retiring, he signed a contract with NBC News and Sports to work as a correspondent for NBC programming like The Today Show, Football Night in America, and even the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. In 2023, Tiki made his analyst debut appearance on television by working as a color analyst for NFL games on CBS. During the same year, he began working for NY Sport Radio WFAN covering all things New York sports. Barber even served as the network’s “designated survivor” for the 2024 Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas where he would step in to call the game in event of any technical difficulties.
