1. PURPOSE

Collars & Co. Inc. (“Sponsor”) is offering a chance to win a VIP getaway experience to the 2027 Desert Smash: A Celebrity Tennis Event taking place on at La Quinta Resort & Club in La Quinta, California on March 1, 2027 and March 2, 2027 (the “Sweepstakes”).

2. ELIGIBILITY

This Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the United States and the District of Columbia, who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry and possess a valid, State-issued driver’s license. Void elsewhere and where restricted or prohibited by law. Employees of Collars & Co., partner vendors of Collars & Co., or the immediate family members of Collars & Co. employees are prohibited from entry. 

Participation constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules, and entrant waives any right to claim ambiguity in these Official Rules. In the event of any inconsistency with any advertising or other materials, these Official Rules shall govern.

By participating, you (i) agree to be bound by these Official Rules, including all eligibility requirements, and (ii) agree to be bound by the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Sweepstakes. Failure to comply with these Official Rules may result in disqualification from the Sweepstakes. Entry materials/data that have been tampered with or altered are void. No responsibility is assumed for: (i) lost, late, misdirected, damaged, garbled, incomplete or illegible entries, all of which are void; (ii) error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or for technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, mobile device, computer, hardware or software malfunctions of any kind, or inaccurate transmission of or failure to receive entry information by Sponsor on account of technical problems; or (iii) any injury or damage to entrant’s or any other person’s mobile device, tablet or computer related to or resulting from participating in the Sweepstakes.

Sponsor reserves the right to: (i) permanently disqualify from any promotion it sponsors any person it believes has intentionally violated these Official Rules; and (ii) suspend, modify or terminate the Sweepstakes if Sponsor believes, in its sole discretion, that malfunction, error, disruption or damage is impairing or will impair the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes. Any individual who is found to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes, to be acting in violation of these Official Rules, or to be acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with the intent to disrupt or undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes, or to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person, may be disqualified, and Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages and other remedies from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law.

3. HOW TO ENTER

Purchase Entries: Beginning at 6:00AM PDT on September 4, 2026 and concluding at 11:59PM PDT on September 14, 2026 (the “Contest Period”), eligible participants can enter and receive one (1) Sweepstakes entry for each one dollar ($1.00) spent at Collars & Co. retail locations (online and at Sponsor’s brick-and-mortar locations) during the Contest Period. Purchases made between September 4, 2026 through September 7, 2026 (“Labor Day Bonus Period”) will earn four (4) Sweepstakes entries for each one dollar ($1.00) spent. Entries during the Labor Day Bonus Period, will replace the standard one Sweepstakes entry for each one ($1.00) spent and are not meant to be considered in addition to the standard Sweepstakes entry. 

Email Opt-In Entries: Beginning at 6:00AM PDT on September 4, 2026 and concluding at 11:59PM PDT on September 14, 2026, eligible participants can enter and receive ten (10) Sweepstakes entries by opting in to receive marketing emails from Sponsor in one of the following ways: (i) via a pop-up screen at the point of checkout; or (ii) on the Sponsor’s Sweepstakes landing page at https://collarsandco.com/pages/desert-smash-sweepstakes. Participants can unsubscribe from receiving emails from Sponsor at any time by following the directions provided in the Sponsor’s emails.

Alternative Method of Entry

Mail-In Entry: Beginning at 6:00AM PDT on September 4, 2026 and concluding at 11:59PM PDT on September 14, 2026, eligible participants can also enter the contest by sending a legibly, hand-printed addressed and stamped letter to: Collars & Co., Attn: Collars & Co. 2026 Sweepstakes Entry, 18620 Woodfield Rd., Suite C, Gaithersburg, MD 20879, with the participant’s full legal name, full mailing address, and birth date on a plain piece of paper. Each Mail-In Entry will earn seventy-five (75) Sweepstakes entries. Mail-In Entries received without a verifiable and legible return address that matches the name on the piece of plain paper and legible birth date will be deemed incomplete and not valid entries. The entrants’ mailing addresses will be used for purposes of contacting the Grand Prize winner. Sponsor will not use the mailing addresses received from participants in the Sweepstakes for marketing purposes and an entrant will not be asked to opt-in to receive future marketing and promotional materials from Sponsor.

4. PRIZE INFORMATION 

The Grand Prize consists of the following:

• Three (3) night stay at La Quinta Resort & Club, Curio Collection by Hilton, 44-499 Eisenhower Dr., La Quinta, CA 92253, check-in on Sunday, February 28, 2027, and checking out on Wednesday, March 3, 2027.

• Two (2) tickets to the 23rd Annual Tennis Exhibition on Tuesday, March 2, 2027

• Two (2) tickets to the Desert Smash Afterparty at Zenyara on Tuesday, March 2, 2027

• $1,000.00 Collars & Co.® gift card 
  

• Up to $1,000.00 airfare credit

Approximate retail value of grand prize: $4,500.00

The Sponsor reserves the right to substitute another prize of equal or greater value for any reason including if any portion of the Grand Prize becomes unavailable.

5. WINNER SELECTION

One Sweepstakes winner will be randomly selected from all eligible entries received during the Contest Period, regardless of the method of entry, (the “Winner”) to receive the grand prize. 

Winner will be drawn by September 30, 2026. The Winner will be contacted via the email address or mailing address provided via the method of entry used. The Winner does not need to be present to accept the grand prize but must respond within five (5) business days from when they are initially contacted by Sponsor to accept the prize and agree to the terms and conditions. Notification is considered to have occurred immediately upon sending the email to the email address supplied in the entry or mailing address to the mailing address supplied in the entry. Failure to accept the prize will result in forfeiture, and another winner will be selected. In the event that there is no response from the Winner within five (5) business days from when initially contacted by Sponsor, Winner shall forfeit the grand prize and an alternate winner will be chosen by random drawing of all remaining eligible entries.  

Potential winners may waive their right to receive a prize.  All prizes will be awarded, but unclaimed prizes may be forfeited. Prizes are non-assignable and nontransferable. Winner is solely responsible for reporting and payment of any taxes on prizes. Where legal, winner may be required to sign, execute, and return a Prize Winner Statement of Eligibility and Release of Liability and Publicity Release and any other documentation that Sponsor requires (collectively “Statement/Release”) before a prize will be awarded or such potential winner may be disqualified, and an alternate potential winner may be selected.  Except where prohibited by law, participation in the Sweepstakes constitutes entrant’s consent to the publication of his or her name, image and/or likeness in any media for any commercial or promotional purpose, without limitation or further compensation. 

Sponsor reserves the right to modify, extend, suspend, or terminate the Sweepstakes, in whole or in part, if it determines, in its sole discretion, that the Sweepstakes is technically impaired or corrupted or that fraud or technical problems, failures or malfunctions or other unintended circumstances have impaired the integrity, administration, security, proper play and/or feasibility of the Sweepstakes as contemplated herein. If the Sweepstakes is terminated before the designated end date, Sponsor will (if possible) select winner(s) in a random drawing from all eligible, non-suspect entries unaffected by the problem. Inclusion in such drawing shall be each entrant’s sole and exclusive remedy in such circumstances.

All federal, state, and local taxes associated with the Sweepstakes are the sole responsibility of the Winner. Sweepstakes winner will receive IRS forms reporting winnings and a copy of such forms will be filed with the IRS.  Written release and eligibility verification from the Winner is required and must include the representative’s name, social security number and a photocopy of the representative’s valid, State-issued driver’s license.

Any reference to third parties, including, but not limited to, Desert Smash and Resort & Club is for reference only and not intended to endorse those third parties or to imply any endorsement or sponsorship by same. This Sweepstakes is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by Desert Smash or Resort & Club.

7. SWEEPSTAKES RESULTS

For Sweepstakes results and/or a copy of these Official Rules, send a hand-printed, self-addressed, stamped envelope to Collars & Co. Inc. at Collars & Co., Attn: Collars & Co. 2026 Sweepstakes Results, 18620 Woodfield Rd., Suite C, Gaithersburg, MD 20879 after the end of the drawing, or by September 19, 2026.  

8. ODDS

Odds of winning may depend on the number of eligible participants who enter the Sweepstakes.

9. GENERAL RELEASE

By participating in the Sweepstakes, you (and if you are a minor, your parent or legal guardian) agree that the Sweepstakes Entities (a) shall not be responsible or liable for, and are hereby released from, any and all costs, injuries, losses or damages of any kind, including, without limitation, death and bodily injury, due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, to participation in the Sweepstakes or any Sweepstakes-related activity, or from acceptance, awarding, receipt, possession and/or use or misuse of any prize, and (b) have not made any warranty, representation or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, with respect to any prize, including, without limitation, to such prize’s quality or fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing in these Official Rules limits or excludes the liability of the Sponsor for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the Sponsor.

10. DISPUTES

By participating in the Sweepstakes, you further agree that (a) any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or in connection with the Sweepstakes, or any prize awarded, shall be resolved individually without resort to any form of class action; (b) any claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to reasonable and actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering the Sweepstakes, but in no event attorney’s fees; and (c) under no circumstances will you be permitted to obtain any award for, and you hereby waive all rights to claim, punitive, incidental, indirect or consequential damages and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased and any other damages, other than damages for reasonable and actual out-of-pocket expenses. These rules and any disputes relating hereto are governed by the internal laws of the State of Maryland without regard to principles of conflicts of laws, and by entering, you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts in Montgomery County, Maryland for resolution of any disputes relating to the Sweepstakes and waive any objection thereto. For New Jersey Residents: Nothing herein prohibits recovery of damages or attorneys’ fees where required by statute.

11. CONSTRUCTION

All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of any entrant and Sponsors, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Maryland without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions (whether of Maryland or any other jurisdiction) that would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than Maryland.  The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Official Rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision.  In the event that any such provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable, these rules shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or unenforceable provision was not contained therein.

Personal information provided by Sweepstakes entrants will be treated in accordance with Sponsor’s Privacy Policy, located at https://collarsandco.com/pages/privacy-policy.
